Job Summary

AECOM is seeking a senior level analyst to plan and direct efforts capturing potential failure modes related to system risks and project risks and is experienced in identifying resolutions or mitigation steps to handle those risks. Proficiency with statistics and probability calculations.

Responsibilities:

Manage and handle all risk processes, analysis, input, output, cadence, RMBs, training and file control to include:

  • Risk Management Board Scheduling, Facilitation, and Documentation

  • Risk Identification

  • Risk Analysis and Assessment

  • Risk Mitigation Strategy Development and Adjustment

  • Risk Monitoring

  • Risk Communication (Including Inputs for Technical and Program Reviews)

  • Risk Registry Maintenance and Control

  • Compliance with Directives and T9001B

  • Risk Whitepaper and Local Directive(s) Development and Maintenance

  • Participate in SP22-specific RCA&CA activities related to risk management

  • Support audits for the tasks that the contactor specifically performs

Approach:

  • Participate in assigned working groups, teams, or brainstorming sessions to facilitate and stimulate risk identification methods

  • Conduct forums or discussions to encourage and assist with risk assessment and analysis by capturing quantitate and qualitative information to determine a risk's likelihood and possible consequence of occurrence

  • Aid in the team/risk owner on risk handling approaches and aid the mitigation owners in documenting and tracking approved mitigation plans

  • Use the risk register, ensure all individual risks are documented and updated

  • Provide outputs/reports of each risk for reporting or design review and other data packages

  • Facilitate and possibly chair recurring Risk Management Boards

  • Update the risk register routinely and provide change control and record of changes for each risk

  • Utilize the risk communication process based on customer requests and be able to communicate the status of risks when required to stakeholders

  • Encourage the use of opportunity management

  • Schedule and conduct risk meetings at varying levels

  • Proactively provide risk knowledge and information to all staff and conduct formal or ad hoc training as needed

  • Participate in risk-related RCA&CA events

  • Ensure compliance with T9001B and support risk-related audits

Minimum Requirements

Master's degree in a related field and 10 years of job related experience or equivalent. Good written communication skills; working knowledge of word-processing and integrated software applications; organizational skills and ability to perform detail-oriented work are required. Position may require travel. Position will require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
