Job Summary

AECOM has an immediate need for Web Developer/Programmer to support the following programs in support of one of our Navy Contracts.

  • Develope corporate sized, web network-based business applications, with expertise in HTML, Cascading Style Sheets, Javascript, where these applications are data-driven using table structures in Oracle, on Unix systems in Solaris and Linux, on Apache web servers.

  • Develope SQL data structures and tables to be integrated with web-based application software.

  • Use Oracle systems and SQL calls.

  • Develope applications using the development framework of Hibernate, Spring, SQL Developer, and VIM.

  • Develope web applications for the Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Chrome. Experience using the web developer functions built into each of these browsers.

  • Complete software configuration management and source code control systems development tools and agile development tools: NetBeans, GIT, Spring, Hibernate, SCRUM, SQL Developer, VIM, and Reflection.

Minimum Requirements

Education Requirements: Candidate must have a B.S. or equivalent scientific degree such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Engineering. Offsetting experience may be substituted for the education requirement.

Specific Technical Requirements : 0- 3 years of software development experience with JAVA, Perl and PHP. Candidate must have experience in requirements generation, documentation, systems design, and software testing. Candidates must have experience working or using ORACLE SQL, HTML, Javascript, Oracle, Apache web servers, and SharePoint.

Candidates are required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prefer active Secret Clearance.

  • Experience with corporate software systems at NSWCDD.
